Talk Science from the Science Museum gives science teachers innovative tools and techniques to run contemporary science discussions in the classroom (e.g. GM Food, Climate Change, space exploration) to help give students the confidence to find their own voice and have a say in the way science impacts and shapes their lives.
The Talk Science project comprises of a 1 day teachers course, website and classroom resources.
Talk Science: Effective Discussions in How Science Works
This practical course draws on the Science Museum’s expertise in developing contemporary science exhibitions and managing dialogue and debate in the Science Museum’s Dana Centre, a purpose built venue for science discussion and is delivered by the Science Museum’s experienced training team.

Curriculum Links: Talk Science has been developed to fit with all UK 11-16 Science curricula, PLTS and APP to promote student understanding of the applications and implications of science and to develop effective communication skills.
